An over-the-shoulder view of a GBU-12, 500 lb. laser guided bomb hung on the right wing of an F-16DJ of the 20th Fighter Wing. Flying off the wing is 1LT Russ "Redbone" Rotan in F-16CJ, serial # 91-0376, of the 77th Fighter Squadron. The jets were captured during a 'Long-Rifle' mission to Avon Park Bombing Range in central Florida. With most upgrades under the CCIP program complete, F-16s of the 20th FW can now carry targeting pods and self-designate targets to accomplish the Destruction of Enemy Air Defenses (DEAD) mission. © 2007 Greg L.
